The iconic French car manufacturer Renault arrives in Web3 with “R3NLT”a community initiative to get closer to all brand enthusiasts, Web 3.0 insiders but also neophytes.
To formalize this launch, Renault unveils a first collection of 1,972 “genR5” non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in homage to his legendary Renault 5 from the 70s and 80s, his best-selling model for ten years.

This first drop will be available at mint from December 15 on Renault’s new dedicated platform. This secure platform will be the single point of purchase for acquiring Renault NFTs and will offer a privileged and intimate relationship with the brand. It will provide secure access to your wallet and will evolve as the various launches progress. It will also allow the public to follow the news of the sale and to register to receive key notifications in order to become the holder of a genR5 NFT.
These NFTs will offer a plethora of benefits to their holdersamong which :
Access to events covered by Renault; Privileged car tests; Meetings with Renault managers, in particular the directors of the design branch; Discovery of Renault exhibitions in preview; Exclusive tours of places never before revealed to the public; And more opportunities to come.

NFTs with unique traits
This first collection of 1,972 NFTs, in reference to the year of launch of the Renault R5, will be inspired by 4 evolutions of the mythical model of the 70s. Thus, these NFTs, randomly distributedwill be presented according to the following characteristics:
100 electric R5in homage to the 100 electric models produced in the 1970s, a real revolution at the time;
160 R5 Turboto symbolize Renault’s sportiness, 160 corresponding to the number of horsepower available on the sports model;
450 R5 The Van, in reference to the 450 models produced in limited series of this edition with features inspired by American cars; And finally 1262 R5 TLsymbol of the revolution of city dwellers.
This first collection will offer its holders unique benefits, including the opportunity to participate in the creation of “The Originals” merchandising objects as well as notifications informing you of future R3NLT opportunities.
It should also be noted that the various drops launched by Renault can be an opportunity to take a step into Web3 without necessarily making use of cryptocurrencies. Indeed, the purchase at a single price and accessible to all of these NFTs is also possible by traditional payment by bank card.
Finally, the purchase of these NFTs will allow interested parties to benefit from the patron status of the Give Me Five solidarity project, with part of the revenue generated by the genR5 collection being donated to this initiative.
